I'm in love!!!! is official.... I am totally in love with Stampotique Stamps, all of em, but especially the Daniel Torrent ones, they are so creepy and gothic (I am a closet goth)!! I adore them, and I have been waiting very patiently for any Stampotique stamp to appear on Ebay.....and guess what!!!! THREE came up all at the same time, and I won them....yippeeeeeeeeee!!! so now I have the start of my new addiction!!!
Soooooo without hesitation, I started on with this weeks new Stampotique Designers Challenge which is  "black and white with a pop of color".
I totally enjoyed making the background for this card, I started off by brayering some black and white splodges on some white card, then adding splats of black and white, then partly drying them with a heat tool, and just before they are completely dry, brayering over them, then added some chevron and dot fade stencilling with the Tim Holtz stencils,  I finished off with some sewing, computer generated words, and the girl with the heart purse stamp. such fun, and I love the result.

  1. This is gorgeous. It's a slippery slope into a lovely addiction with Stampotique. Thanks for joining us this week.

  2. Jane this is really awesome! This background - fantastic!!!
Thanks for joining us at Stampotique Design Challenge

    xx Arwen

  3. Oh, Jane, I remember finding my first Stampotique stamp--it was "Mary"--and I was, like you, hooked! My collection now numbers over 100! I am so pleased that you used one of your first stamps for my black'n'white w/a pop of color challenge. What you have created is absolutely gorgeous! This, though, is not just about the color, but the design! Well done! Thanks so much for joining in on the Stampotique Designers' Challenge this week!

  4. This is amazing Jane, what a wonderful background, and of course I love Girl With Heart Purse - she was my first Stampotique stamp! I really don't want to count how many I have now lol. Thank you so much for joining in with our challenge at Stampotique, and hope to see you next time. Sue xx

  5. Love your background, lots of interest and dimension. Girl With Heart Purse is on my every growing list of 'need' Stampotique characters!

I only have 30 Stampotique stamps but i use them all the time and never tire of them, i hope you find more soon.

Stunning card, love the sentiment it goes with Girl With Heart Purse so well :-) xxx

  6. Really awesome look - and a very fun image! Your backgrounds just amaze me!
